Last night I cut up triangular strips of coloured paper and made this paper bead necklace. Sometimes completing simple projects aimed at children are my preferred method of relaxation (plus they are usually the most fun and most colourful!)
You can follow this easy peasy tutorial to make your own paper necklace. My beads were only made with a length of paper that measured 12-15cm as I was using scraps but if you want them nice and round I suggest cutting 30cm strips (I will be doing this with my next necklace). I also used a paintbrush to apply Mod Podge to the beads so they would be a little more protected from water and to help keep their shape. You could also use good ol' PVA glue.
